Two Haute Couture collections, six seasonal Ready to-Wear and accessory collections, and two sportswear and lifestyle-inspired capsule collections - Coco Beach and Coco Neige - offer a style that captures the spirit of the times and fits into the daily lives of women. A moving silhouette and accessories are an essential part of CHANEL's allure and the timeless codes of the Brand, immediately identifiable, imagined by Gabrielle Chanel and now interpreted by Matthieu BLAZY.

YOUR IMPACT AT CHANEL

The Chanel Fashion Information Systems Department is a strategic partner in excellence and value creation for Fashion. Its ambition is to support daily activities and the evolution of Fashion's market positioning through ultra-efficient, innovative information systems that meet both :

  • The quality of service and efficiency requirements, reflecting the excellence of our products and our ultimate luxury customer experience;
  • The exceptional pace of collections (10 per year).

To achieve this, the Chanel Fashion IT teams must demonstrate responsiveness, agility, ingenuity, pragmatism, anticipation, strategic vision, and a fine understanding of business challenges to support the uniqueness of our operational model.

YOUR MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES

As the Supply Chain, Distribution & Regional-Market Animation IT Director, reporting to the Head of Merchandising, Buying, and Supply Chain Domain IT Director, you are responsible for building and managing a new team, also relying on external resources / consulting budget, to fulfill the following missions :

  • Define the IT roadmap for your domain in line with business challenges and, as much as possible, propose ways to create market differentiation through the use of technologies.
  • Act as the strategic IT partner for the functional entities in charge of Fashion Product Distribution Supply Chain activities, challenging and inspiring business leaders in the division, regions, and markets to offer them the best solutions.
  • With the support of your team and other Fashion IT teams, as well as Global and Regional teams, implement the IT vision for your scope, taking into account business specifics and priority needs to meet business challenges.

  • For Design and Build, support business leaders in evolving their activities by projecting the evolution of relevant systems and applications : monitoring and anticipating business challenges and possible solutions, evolution strategy to meet needs, solution design, tool selection, sometimes piloting implementation by your teams, sometimes with internal or external partners.
  • Partner with other IT domains (notably Collection Development) within the Fashion IT department and in the Regions to provide solutions and application services they will need to meet their own business "face-offs."
  • Collaborate closely with IT expert functions (notably Tech engineering, Adoption, Data management, etc.) to ensure they provide the technical services you need.
  • For the run, guarantee daily service quality and performance on business applications within your scope : performance monitoring, maintenance, problem resolution, user support.

Within the IT strategy defined by the Head of Merchandising, Buying & Supply Chain Domain IT Director and in partnership with the Fashion Supply Chain management, you are responsible for :

  • Replacing the current ERP of the Fashion division by studying, framing, and implementing new generation tools perfectly aligned with the specific business needs of fashion and the target technical architecture of the division's information systems, while proposing the most modern technologies.
  • Influencing and supporting Corporate & Regional ERP teams in designing and implementing "End-To-End" Fashion Supply Chain flows and operations in regional entities and markets up to boutiques.
  • Being the main and privileged point of contact for regional and market teams in the Merchandising, Buying, and Supply Chain domain of the Fashion IT department and animating them on all project and run activities within the domain.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING

As a Director, you represent the Head of Domain and the Fashion IT department to the leaders of your business scope and contribute to its image of efficiency and excellence. You will put your human and technical qualities at the service of your missions :

You have a vision of the impacts and contributions of technologies on the businesses you support, to feed this strategy and anticipate relevant evolutions.
  • Understand business challenges within your scope and have a systemic thinking approach to relate elements and support business arbitration impacting CHANEL's information systems.
  • Possess recognized communication and persuasion skills to interact with all your interlocutors : within the Fashion ecosystem, with regions and Corporate, both internally and with business and technology partners. You know how to animate and engage a wide network of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate curiosity for market and technological evolutions and their impacts, detecting opportunities to stay ahead, change sector practices, and pivot operational models.

Within your area of responsibility, you demonstrate the following skills and qualities :
