The Streaming Market Analyst at Bedrock plays a pivotal role in deepening our understanding of the tech and streaming ecosystem. Leveraging strong analytical skills and industry expertise, the Analyst delivers comprehensive insights into market dynamics, consumer behaviors, and technological innovations. Their work directly informs Bedrock’s and our clients’ product strategies, helping align them with evolving market needs and opportunities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the Business & Strategy team, the Analyst produces regular trend reports, competitive benchmarks, and forward‑looking analyses that drive decision‑making across the organization.
- Monitor and analyze global market trends in streaming and media—covering AVOD, SVOD, PayTV, video entertainment—to identify opportunities and challenges for Bedrock and its clients.
- Benchmark industry leaders and streaming platforms (from global streamers to local broadcasters and telcos/PayTV providers), identifying market practices in video experience and offers, monetization, user experience, and distribution strategies.
- Deliver strategic insights and mapping grounded in market data to guide business innovation, feature development, and product positioning (e.g., user onboarding, UX, advertising formats, commercial bundles).
- Analyze app data (e.g., SensorTower), app store reviews, and online communities, of the main streaming platforms.
- Synthesize insights from major industry events (WWDC, Google I/O, NAB, CES, etc.) into concise briefings that identify quick wins and long‑term opportunities for our teams.
- Communicate findings effectively through presentations with Bedrock’s internal teams and clients, promoting a shared understanding of trends and their business implications.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree from a top‑tier Business School, Engineering School, or University.
- 3–6 years max of professional experience in one or more of the following roles: Business / Marketing Analyst, Market Research or Development Analyst, Insights Manager.
- Experience in streaming or digital B2C environments, international media or tech, or consulting firms is preferred.
- Good knowledge and passion for the TV, video, and streaming industry, including business models, distribution, and regulation.
- Strong curiosity and ease in exploring and leveraging AI tools (GPT, Gemini, etc.).
- Good knowledge of streaming technologies, connected devices, and digital ecosystems.
- Exceptional research, analytical, and synthesis skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in Google Slides and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
