Job summary

ESRF - The European Synchrotron in Grenoble seeks a Recruitment Officer on a 4-month maternity leave replacement. You will collaborate with HR and managers to identify hiring needs, draft job descriptions, publish offers, source candidates, screen applications, conduct initial interviews and drive the recruitment process from start to finish.

Excellent English is required; French knowledge is also important.

Qualifications

Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 5 years of professional recruitment experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a service-minded approach.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and responsiveness.
Proficiency in English and good knowledge of French.

Responsibilities

Identify hiring needs and define candidate profiles with managers.
Prepare job descriptions and advertisements.
Publish offers on job boards and social media.
Source candidates and screen applications.
Conduct initial interviews and support managers in the selection process.
Manage the recruitment process from application to offer and keep candidates informed.
Track recruitment activities and KPIs.
Support onboarding of new hires.
Participate in job fairs and recruitment events when needed.
