Zusammenfassung

Aerospacelab is hiring a Supplier Management Engineer to link our supplier base with internal teams, driving partnerships and on-time, quality performance. You will oversee pre-production coordination with Design, Quality, Industrialization and Procurement, then manage mass-production follow-ups, audits and KPI tracking.

Based in Toulouse, you will travel up to 25% to suppliers and support continuous improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity across the supply chain.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering - Mechanical/Electronics/Production/Manufacturing.
• 2-3 years in Quality/Production/Industrial Engineering/Logistics, preferably mass production.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• Proactive hands-on approach and strong planning/organization skills.
• Willing to travel up to 25% to Suppliers.
• Based at Aerospacelab HQ (Louvain-la-Neuve now; moving to Charleroi).

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain strong partnerships with local and international suppliers.
• Support supplier growth from product development to mass production.
• Ensure on-time, on-quality deliveries to meet performance targets.
• Coordinate with Design, Quality, Industrialization & Procurement teams during pre-production.
• Plan follow-ups and audits with suppliers in mass production.
• Monitor supplier process capacity and align with order volumes.
• Keep ERP up to date with quantities and delivery dates.
• Identify procurement risks and implement countermeasures.
• Set up quality checks at supplier and manage non-conformances.
• Promote innovations to enable timely preparation and successful supplier parts introduction into mass production.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve mass production performance.
