Orus is growing fast and is hiring a Strategic Project Manager to lead cross-functional strategic initiatives across the company, from strategy definition to execution.

You will report to Axel Compain, Head of Strategy, Finance & Data, and collaborate with all teams to shape roadmaps for growth, international expansion, and performance. Fluent English and French are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a top-tier school in business or engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in consulting, strategy, or strategic project management at a startup/scale-up.
• Ability to break down complex problems into simple sub‑problems and align teams.
• Strong analytical and pragmatic skills; focus on 2–3 key insights.
• Daily use of AI to move faster.
• Fluency in English and French.

Responsabilités

• Lead cross-functional strategic projects within the Strategy team.
• Contribute to defining Orus's strategy for the coming years.
• Collaborate with acquisition teams to monitor performance and define a roadmap to improve profitability.
• Develop cross-sell and price/ops strategies.
• Lead in-housing of claims handling (currently outsourced).
• Support Orus's international expansion and entry strategies.
• Drive projects end-to-end and be accountable for results, even in ambiguity.

The role

Orus is growing fast, and we're launching more and more strategic projects. Each project is becoming more complex and requires more analysis, preparation, and depth. To support this momentum, we need a cross-functional profile able to drive and follow these initiatives across the whole company.

You'll join the Strategic Project Manager team and report to Axel Compain, Head of Strategy, Finance & Data. You'll be able to lead a wide range of topics: launching new insurance products, developing cross-sell strategy, internationalization, reducing churn... What these projects have in common: they're cross-functional and will put you in constant contact with all of Orus's teams, who are eagerly awaiting your arrival.

Missions

You'll lead cross-functional strategic projects within the Strategy team. Among the major ongoing or upcoming projects:

Example of strategic projects

• Contribute to defining Orus's strategy for the coming years

• Collaborate with the acquisition teams to monitor performance and define a roadmap to improve economic profitability & results

• Develop cross-sell (customer base segmentation, competitive analysis, pricing, Ops model redesign, targeted communications)

• Lead the in-housing of claims handling (currently outsourced)

• Support Orus's international expansion: which markets to prioritize next, and how to enter them

• Control and reduce churn

• Launch new insurance products in France and internationally

Candidate profile

• You hold a Master's degree from a top-tier business or engineering school.

• You have 2-4 years of prior experience in consulting, strategy, or as a Strategic Project Manager at a startup/scale-up

• You know how to break down complex problems into simple sub-problems to bring teams on board

• You have strong analytical and pragmatic skills: no need for ultra-complex analysis, you know how to pull out the 2-3 key insights and talk numbers simply

• You use AI daily to move faster

• You're efficient: you meet your deadlines, juggle several topics in parallel, and communicate well when there's a delay

• You know how to ramp up quickly

• You know how to drive projects end-to-end and are accountable for results, even in ambiguity

• You speak fluent English & French
