The Council of Europe in Strasbourg is seeking a Political Advisor to support the Directorate General of Human Rights and Rule of Law. You will provide policy analysis and strategic input on the Reykjavik process and the environment, engaging with CDENV, Bern and Florence Conventions, EUR-OPA and external partners.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in environmental protection, management and policies.
• Ability to use standard office applications and produce policy outputs.
• Experience in secretariat work of intergovernmental and/or experts committees.

Aufgaben

• Provide high-quality policy advice and analysis to senior management and governing bodies.
• Contribute to implementing and promoting the Council of Europe Strategy on the Environment.
• Coordinate with diverse internal and external partners on environmental policy initiatives.
• Draft and coordinate communication outputs and visibility of the work on the environment.
