Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking a Material Planner in France to manage Fab material availability and inventory models, aligning with production schedules and supplier lead times. You will analyze BOM data, forecast demand, and drive improvements in material usage and waste reduction.

You should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in supply chain or related field with 2–5 years in semiconductors, and be proficient in SAP ERP, Excel, and Power BI; coding skills are a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• 2–5 years in semiconductor material planning or production control.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP) and MS Office.
• Coding skills (Python, SQL, VBA) are a plus for automation.
• Strong coordination and multitasking to prioritize material shortages.

Responsibilities

• Ensure data integrity of the material planning database (BOM, lead times, safety stock).
• Perform material analysis and forecast against the production schedule.
• Drive material usage improvements, waste reduction, and inventory management.
• Lead programs to improve supplier lead times, inventory optimization, and warehouse space utilization.
