Job summary

European Space Agency seeks a Head of the Industrial Policy and Auditing Department within the CFO Directorate to define and ensure coherent industrial and audit policies, foster industry relations, and evaluate space programme impacts across ESA activities. You will lead a team, oversee governance, and coordinate with Member States and EU partners to strengthen industrial policy implementation.

• Master’s degree in a relevant domain with strong strategic focus.
• 15 years of professional experience in policy, procurement or industrial programmes.
• Leadership experience in multinational, complex organisations.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement coherent industrial policy and audits across ESA programmes.
• Foster relations between ESA, industry, Member States and EU bodies.
• Lead socioeconomic studies to evaluate programme impact and industrial participation.
• Coordinate with Strategy, Legal and External Matters for international cooperation.
• Develop governance and end-to-end processes for supplier and industrial policy.
