Job summary

American International Group (AIG) in Paris, France seeks a Head of Sales and Distribution for France, Belgium and Luxembourg. You will lead a 21-person distribution team and drive broker and client engagement across the region.

The role requires deep experience in commercial insurance, strong leadership, and fluency in French and English. You will report to the Cluster General Manager and collaborate with Marketing, Programs and Sales teams to achieve aggressive growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance or banking with commercial team management.
• Experience with corporate insurance programmes (local & multinational).
• Strong market-facing track record.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Experience in a multinational matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Overlook Distribution Team and manage 21 people across France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
• Report to Cluster General Manager and be part of Cluster executive committee.
• Monitor insurance market, identify opportunities and translate into AIG appetite.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Communication department.
• Set up strategy for Distribution and Broker & Client Management.
• Deliver annual new business production and cross-selling from existing clients/brokers in line with set objectives.
• Visit Partner Brokers and Key Customers representing AIG.
• Maintain Salesforce database and ensure data integrity.
