Jobtailor is seeking a senior procurement professional in Rennes to lead tender processes and define supplier panels for strategic categories. You will negotiate, evaluate offers and drive awards while aligning with finance and operations to ensure value, risk mitigation and service levels.

The role requires a Bac+5, strong English, and proven skills in project management, negotiation, analytics and contract knowledge.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a business school / IAE or engineering school with Purchasing specialization, or significant experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in English, project management, operational excellence (service and quality), and negotiation techniques.
• Analytical mindset with financial skills and strong problem-solving/methodological abilities.
• Basic contractual and legal knowledge.
• Excellent verbal communication, ability to challenge to optimize performance, proactive and responsive, strategic vision, and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Lead tender processes for the category: understand requirements, identify value-analysis levers, define the supplier panel, evaluate offers, negotiate, make recommendations and select awards.
• Support service performance to accompany the business (quality, supply chain, etc.).
• Define and drive the supplier panel strategy: identify market players as an expert of the upstream value chain; set and uphold requirements with suppliers; ensure continuous improvement of panel performance.
• Contribute to the financial management of the category: budgets and estimates, including monitoring risks and opportunities.
• Pursue ongoing cost optimization and identify savings and productivity levers.
• Contribute to the overall performance of the procurement function (CSR/sustainability, robustness/resilience, procurement best practices).
