Wärtsilä is seeking an experienced Contract Manager for its Special Applications unit in France. You will manage complex contracts through the full lifecycle, ensuring risk mitigation and commercial performance, while collaborating with cross-functional teams across international sites.

Qualifications

• Contract management experience in an industrial environment.
• Mentioned experience in defense/military sectors is mandatory.
• Knowledge of diesel engines or propulsion systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in French and English, written and spoken.

• Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle from analysis to execution and financial follow-up.
• Define and implement the contractual strategy for projects.
• Set up and maintain contract management and reporting tools.
• Advise operational teams on interpretation and application of terms.
• Monitor client interactions and contractual matters.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation actions.
• Assess changes and opportunities to improve profitability.
• Drive improvements in contract performance and security.
• Negotiate amendments and contract changes.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers, partners and subcontractors.
• Support continuous improvement of contract management practices.
