Körber Pharma Packaging AG is seeking a skilled Procurement Leader to own the category strategy for mechanical components, including drawing-based parts, in a manufacturing setting in France.

You will lead sourcing, supplier development, and cost optimization using TCO, collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Production to ensure alignment with product needs and supplier performance.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or related supply chain functions.
• Proven category management, strategic sourcing and supplier development experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical/electrical components and BOMs.
• Proficient in Excel/PowerPoint; able to present data-driven proposals.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems; excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Own and drive the category strategy for mechanical components, including drawing-based parts, ensuring cost competitiveness, quality, and supply reliability.
• Lead sourcing and supplier management activities, including supplier identification, evaluation, and development.
• Drive cost optimization and value engineering using TCO and cost analyses.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production to review requirements and align with product needs.
• Conduct market and spend analysis, benchmark suppliers, and define mid- to long-term sourcing strategies.
• Review BOMs across products and machines to identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Manage supplier performance and supply risk, including market developments and mitigation actions.
• Lead localization, prototyping, and machine transfer projects with timely sourcing alignment.
• Coordinate with global purchasing teams to align sourcing strategies.
