Job summary

Freudenberg is seeking a Buyer to develop sourcing strategies and strengthen supplier partnerships within an international industrial setting. This fixed-term 18-month contract offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to procurement excellence and support cross-functional teams across Operations, Supply Chain, R&D and Quality.

You will drive supplier selection, negotiate favorable terms, and monitor performance to ensure cost, quality, service, and sustainability objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment.
• Knowledge of SAP and procurement tools, with a data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
• Professional communication skills in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic sourcing activities by identifying, selecting, and developing suppliers that support business objectives.
• Lead commercial negotiations to secure competitive costs, optimal service levels, and long-term value creation.
• Build strong supplier partnerships while monitoring performance, mitigating risks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate across functions to support new projects, innovation, operational excellence, and supply continuity.
• Leverage data and procurement tools to enhance decision-making, improve performance, and ensure compliance with company standards.
