Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. This part-time position requires the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, supervise staff, and maintain clean, organized sales floors and stockrooms.

You will assist in opening/closing procedures, processing corporate directives, and ensuring promotional displays are maintained. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for success in a high-energy retail

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and store communications from corporate.
• Maintain and rotate promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll and cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Keep sales floor and stockroom well-organized and clean.
• Protect store assets, including cash, and follow safety guidelines.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
