Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in store or assistant manager role in women’s apparel.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong observation of customer and employee behavior and floor awareness.
• Ability to retain and utilize data on names, merchandise, and policies.
• Ability to foster teamwork and a positive working environment.
• Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and maintain an outstanding sales and customer service environment in the absence of the General Manager.
• Maximize sales through floor supervision and achievement of weekly, monthly and seasonal goals.
• Develop Sales Associates to excel in selling skills and client building.
• Support staffing, training and development of high performance teams.
• Act as Manager-on-Duty when the General Manager is absent.
• Assist with hiring and scheduling to protect payroll and staffing costs.
• Ensure store standards for cash, inventory, and loss prevention are met.
• Maintain store appearance and brand image through floor-set and merchandising directives.
• Collaborate on merchandising and visual presentation to reflect current direction.
