Job summary

Adikteev is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own reliability across a high-scale AWS platform. You will drive architecture, security, observability, and cost efficiency, ensuring systems stay up and performant under millions of requests per second.

You will lead incident response, mentor engineers, and collaborate with teams to enhance CI/CD, automation, and deployment practices for high-velocity delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and operating large-scale, multi-region AWS infrastructure.
• Proven track record improving reliability, scalability, and performance of distributed systems.
• Expert knowledge of Terraform, Infrastructure-as-Code, observability, Linux, networking, and performance troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Define Adikteev’s reliability strategy and technical roadmap across our multi-region AWS platform.
• Lead architecture, scalability, security, observability, and cost efficiency of infrastructure handling over millions of requests per second.
• Own high-severity incident response and drive improvements through postmortems and best practices.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve system design, automation, CI/CD, developer experience, and operational autonomy.
• Lead complex technical initiatives, set engineering standards, and mentor senior engineers.
• Own reliability decisions and balance performance, delivery speed, and cost with business impact.

WHAT TEAM YOU WILL BE PART OF

You will join the backbone of Adikteev's infrastructure. This team ensures that all our systems run reliably, securely and at scale. They own the infrastructure, manage deployments and make sure our platform stays up and performant, even at millions of requests per second.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Define Adikteev’s reliability strategy and technical roadmap across our multi‑region AWS platform.
• Lead the architecture, scalability, security, observability, and cost efficiency of infrastructure handling over 4 million requests per second.
• Own high‑severity incident response and drive measurable improvements through postmortems and operational best practices.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve system design, automation, CI/CD, developer experience, and operational autonomy.
• Lead complex technical initiatives, set engineering standards, and mentor senior engineers.
• Own reliability decisions and ensure the right trade‑offs between performance, delivery speed, infrastructure cost, and business impact.

WHO YOU ARE

You could be a great addition to our Engineering team if you have:

• Extensive experience designing and operating large‑scale, multi‑region AWS infrastructure.
• Proven track record improving the reliability, scalability, and performance of distributed systems.
• Expert knowledge of Terraform, Infrastructure-as-Code, observability, Linux, networking, and performance troubleshooting.
• Strong coding skills in at least two languages, with a focus on automation and maintainable tooling.
• Experience leading complex incidents and driving lasting operational improvements.
• Ability to set technical direction, influence across teams, mentor engineers, and communicate clearly.
• Comfortable making pragmatic decisions in ambiguous situations and balancing technical and business priorities.
• Calm, collaborative, and committed to blameless operations.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive salary between 90,000 and 100,000€ OTE

We are committed to transparent compensation practices. The salary range shown reflects total On‑Target Earnings (OTE), including base salary and a performance‑based Quarterly bonus with transparent KPIs. Final compensation will be tailored to each candidate’s background, experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.
