Job summary

Atolls is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Fulfilment team in Paris or remotely from France. You will design and build scalable backend services for saving and rewards programs, focusing on secure authentication, self-service capabilities, and proactive fraud prevention.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape architecture, mentor peers, and ensure high-quality code and robust APIs in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Developer.
• Experience with AWS DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong backend design for REST, EDA and microservices.
• Proficient in TypeScript, NestJS/Node.js.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices.
• Good English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Document code and security best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions.
