Job summary

Swile in the Paris area is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to strengthen product and data security while hardening the engineering platform. This position is highly technical and hands-on, collaborating with engineering teams to design security architectures and implement cryptographic isolation.

You will build scalable security capabilities, perform threat modeling, and reduce blast radii, contributing to long-term architectures around data isolation and privacy.

Qualifications

• Deep security engineering expertise across production software and distributed systems.
• Experience with authentication, authorization and cryptography.
• Ability to design secure architectures and threat models.
• Willingness to write code and ship security capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and reduce high-impact security risks across apps, APIs and tools.
• Strengthen authentication, authorization and access controls.
• Design data-protection and privacy-preserving systems.
• Build security capabilities into the development lifecycle.
• Partner with engineering teams to address systemic risks.
