Scality is seeking a Platform Security Engineer in Paris to join the platform and delivery team. You will harden the OS, automate vulnerability management, and demonstrate security posture to auditors and customers.

This role demands hands-on systems work, strong Python/Bash skills, and deep Linux knowledge. You will collaborate with a small, skilled Linux team responsible for ADI (Scality Autonomous Data Infrastructure), RING, S3C, and SCOS.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant security or platform engineering experience.
• Strong scripting in Python and Bash; production code experience.
• Fluent in French and good written English; comfortable in a bilingual team.
• Experience with Linux system hardening and OS internals is highly valued.

Responsabilités

• Write and maintain code to harden Linux OS and automate vulnerability management.
• Contribute to secure supply chain practices and SBOM tooling.
• Collaborate with platform and delivery teams to embed security into the build and release process.
• Participate in risk assessment, CVE triage, and remediation efforts.
