Job summary

Amazon Security in Paris, France, is seeking a Software Development Engineer to build and operate core platform infrastructure for security automation. You will own production services, deep-dive on-call, and partner with Security Engineers on investigation logic and playbooks.

Expect to contribute to architectural decisions for reliable, scalable systems and to work across the European Sovereign Cloud, growing your ownership over time.

Qualifications

• Professional software development experience in at least one language.
• Experience designing or architecting software systems.
• Experience building and operating production services with monitoring and on-call duties.
• Full SDLC experience including code reviews, source control, testing and operations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production services underpinning security automation (workflow engine, API gateway, data infrastructure).
• Write clean, well-tested code in Python and TypeScript, shipping features end-to-end from design through deployment.
• Own the operational health of services: monitoring, alarming, on-call, and incident response.
• Collaborate with Security Engineers to implement investigation logic and response playbooks.
