Job summary

Doctolib in Paris seeks a Staff DataOps Engineer to shape our data platform strategy and architecture, accelerating ML initiatives and enabling engineering excellence across the organization. You will join the Data and AI Platform team and help unlock business insights through robust, scalable data infrastructure.

The role demands expertise in GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Airflow or Dagster, and BigQuery, with strong Python and software practices.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in data platform or SRE roles with a focus on DataOps.
Deep expertise in Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and Terraform for automated deployments.
Proficiency with Airflow or Dagster for orchestrating data pipelines and BigQuery experience.
Strong Python programming and software development practices.

Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise-scale data infrastructure strategies, establishing architectural standards across the organization.
Build multi-region data pipelines handling petabyte-scale datasets with 99.9% reliability and advanced monitoring.
Lead cost analysis and optimization across the data stack to reduce spend while improving performance.
Provide technical guidance to data engineers and cross-functional teams on DataOps, security, and governance.
Evaluate emerging technologies, run PoCs, and drive the technical roadmap for data infrastructure modernization.
