Job summary

Doctolib is seeking a Staff DataOps Engineer to join our Data and AI Platform. You will shape data platform strategy, architect enterprise-scale data infra, and accelerate ML initiatives across engineering, AI teams, and business stakeholders in a Paris-based, fully cloud-native environment.

You will lead multi-region pipelines, drive cost optimizations, and set standards for security, governance, and DataOps.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience after graduation as a Staff Data Platform Engineer, Staff DataOps, Staff Site Reliability Engineer, or in a similar role.
Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes & Terraform for automated deployments; strong in network and IAM security.
Deep proficiency in orchestrating data pipelines using Airflow or Dagster and BigQuery.
Strong Python programming and software development fundamentals.
Excellent troubleshooter with ability to diagnose data infra issues and communicate complex concepts.

Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise-scale data infrastructure strategies and establish architectural standards.
Build and optimize multi-region data pipelines handling petabyte-scale datasets with high reliability.
Lead cost analysis and optimization across the data stack to reduce infra spend.
Provide technical guidance, conduct architecture reviews, and drive DataOps governance.
Evaluate new data tools, run PoCs, and lead the data infra modernization roadmap.
