Job summary

Clio is seeking a Staff Content Manager, France Materials, to own the French legal content portfolio—case law, legislation, and key secondary sources. You will align strategy with product outcomes and revenue, coordinating with Editorial, Ops, Licensing, and Finance to maximize value.

You will build pipelines, set metadata standards, and drive content enrichment while ensuring reliability and performance across platforms.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years in legal publishing, data work, or content and product management, leading a content portfolio end-to-end.
• Deep knowledge of the French legal system and publishing market, with case law and legislation experience.
• Experience setting strategy and delivering senior-level results, not just delivering projects.
• Strong product ownership, ability to lead across teams without direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for Clio's French legal content and set targets for completeness, update speed, enrichment depth, and reliability.
• Lead build, buy, and license decisions with Licensing, Legal, and Corporate Development to optimize value.
• Run a ranked backlog with Content Ops and Engineering, and guide migration to Iceberg.
• Set standards for monitoring, fault tolerance, and recovery to keep content assets online.
• Pair editorial review with AI tools to improve findability and downstream AI usability.
