Trustpair is seeking a Staff Software Engineer on the Core Evaluation team. You will be the technical authority driving the evolution of our fraud-detection engine, architecting for scale and resilience and leading LLM-based integrations.

You will collaborate with the Engineering Manager, Product Manager, and engineers to turn strategic vision into technical reality, working on high-impact projects within a hybrid Paris or remote-France setup for a diverse, international team.

Qualifications

8 years experience with technologies in high-throughput environments.
2-3 years in Ruby on Rails on large-scale systems.
Proven architect with experience designing and operating complex distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
DevOps mindset with scaling and tuning applications on Kubernetes.
Strong performance analysis and optimization skills across code, DB and infra.
Excellent collaboration with product management and agile teams; technical leadership without direct authority.
Continuous learner and proactive in applying best practices from evolving ecosystems.
