Job summary

Synopsys seeks an accomplished security and compliance engineering leader to drive certification programs and robust security practices for AI engineering simulation products.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and legal to enforce security policies, manage open-source compliance, and perform audits that reduce risk and improve regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• BS in cybersecurity, CS or related field with 5 years of experience, MS with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year.
• Proven experience managing certification projects (SOC2, ISO 27001 or equivalent).
• Strong cybersecurity knowledge including audit processes and risk management.
• Experience with open-source compliance and license management.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, engineering simulation tools, and software development practices.
• Excellent documentation and reporting for audit and compliance activities.

You are an accomplished security and compliance engineering leader with a robust background in cybersecurity, audit, and open-source compliance. Your experience managing complex certification projects (such as Soc2, ISO 27001, or other relevant frameworks) and follow operational pentests conducted by third parties, is matched by your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. You possess a keen analytical mindset, allowing you to anticipate risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
