MSD France is seeking a GSCM representative to ensure supply continuity across our manufacturing network. You will lead strategic programs, manage capacity, and drive cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, R&D, Engineering and Marketing globally.

Responsibilities include production transfer studies, MoC-driven business cases, risk mitigation, and strategic volume planning. The role involves deployment of advanced planning tools and close work with manufacturing sites.

• Develop and execute transition plans for PIPO projects with key stakeholders.
• Support implementation and deployment of advanced planning tools (e.g., Aera).

Job Description

Position Overview

Under the direction of the AH GSCM LoB (Global Supply Chain Management Line of Business) Lead for Technology Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing organization as the GSCM representative for day-to-day business and strategic projects. Your primary focus will be to ensure supply continuity to our markets by securing the relevant capacity across our organization.

This position requires close collaboration with Manufacturing, R&D, Engineering, and Marketing colleagues globally. Success in this role demands a sound understanding of our operations and manufacturing sites, key company business processes, physical and financial product flows, as well as an awareness of regulatory, quality, and technical requirements.

Primary activities include, but are not limited to

Activity 1 GSCM Project Leadership

• Act as the GSCM lead for assigned strategic programs, including New Product Development (NPD)
• To provide supply chain expertise, launch readiness planning, and capacity-load analysis

Activity 2 Production Transfer Management

• Lead internal production transfer studies
• Initiate and present comprehensive business cases through the "Management of Change" (MoC) process

Activity 3 Risk Mitigation & Capacity Planning

• Proactively identify potential supply chain risks and bottlenecks using global capacity analyses
• Evaluate alternative scenarios and recommend mitigation plans

Activity 4 Strategic Volume Planning

• Participate in the development of the annual Centralized Production Plan and the Assumption-Based Review (ABR) across multiple manufacturing sites

Activity 5 Product Phase-In / Phase-Out (PIPO)

• Develop and execute transition ("switch") plans for PIPO projects in close partnership with key stakeholders, including manufacturing sites, R&D, Quality, and Master Data teams

Activity 6 Tool Deployment

• Support the implementation and deployment of advanced planning tools (e.g., Aera) within the supply chain network

Knowledges

• Education B.S. degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field (Advanced degree is a plus)
• Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, production planning, or manufacturing operations
• Systems Knowledge Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced planning tools. APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP) is highly desirable
• Languages Fluent in English (written and spoken) is mandatory for this global rôle
