Infinite Orbits in Toulouse invites a motivated Situational Space Awareness (SSA) Intern to join the Navigation and System Engineering Departments, contributing to data analysis from space-based sensors and mission analyses.

You will simulate missions using Infinite Orbits tools, collaborate with GNC and Systems teams, and help prepare technical deliverables for customers while gaining hands-on in-orbit services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Aerospace/Space Engineering or related discipline.
• Knowledge of satellite architectures, subsystems, Flight Dynamics, control systems and space environments.
• Strong interest in optical payloads and communication subsystems.
• Coding skills in Matlab/Simulink as well as Python.
• Excellent abstraction and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Analyse data from space-based sensors to survey the GEO belt.
• Support the team in preparing technical deliverables for the customer.
• Conduct research on sensor capacity to fulfil mission requirements.
• Collaborate with the GNC and System Engineering teams to elaborate mission analysis.
• Participate in mission and satellite design discussions.
• Proceed to simulations of missions using Infinite Orbits tools (also participate in the development of these tools).
