Infinite Orbits, based in Toulouse, France, is seeking a Flight Operations Engineer to define and develop the operations concept for GEO satellites delivering space-based services such as SSA.

You will translate ConOps and subsystem data into a cohesive Flight Operations architecture, and eventually perform hands-on operations once the satellite becomes operational.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 3+ years of satellite mission operations or flight systems engineering (LEO/GEO).
• Strong understanding of spacecraft subsystems and ground segment interactions.
• Experience writing technical documentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with operational software tools, e.g., SCOS-2000.

Responsabilités

• Analyze Concepts of Operations (ConOps) and derive detailed Flight Operations concepts.
• Define operational modes, sequences, and decision trees for nominal and off-nominal scenarios.
• Interface with spacecraft subsystem teams to understand telemetry/command interfaces.
• Develop and document ConOps, Flight Operations Manual, and Flight Operating Procedures.
• Support day-to-day mission operations post-launch and monitor spacecraft health.
