Job summary

Infinite Orbits in Toulouse, France, is seeking a motivated Systems Engineering Intern to help build new satellite platforms and rendezvous payloads shaping the future of in-orbit services.

You will work closely with the CTO and Product Owner, develop subsystems, conduct analyses and simulations for PDR/CDR, and ensure safety and reliability while applying space engineering standards in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s students in Autonomous systems/Aerospace/Space Engineering based in France or EU, 5–6 months internship.
• PhD students anywhere, 3 months minimum availability.

Responsibilities

• Develop new subsystems and payloads for IO’s missions.
• Collaborate with CTO and Product Owner on design trade-offs.
• Prepare activities and simulations for PDR/CDR.
• Apply standards to ensure safety and reliability.
• Track requirements and document changes.
• Coordinate engineering teams during development and resolve inconsistencies.
• Ensure subsystem alignment with schedule, cost, and performance.
