JobCubby is representing a partner company in France seeking a Software Engineer - Solutions Engineering. You will join a globally distributed team developing open source software for DevOps workflows across bare-metal systems, private clouds, Kubernetes, and HPC environments.

You will work with Python and Go, exploring Linux stack areas from networking to virtualization, and contribute to upstream projects while promoting robust engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience as a software engineer with Python expertise.
• Maintains reliable, maintainable software and emphasizes dependable operations.
• Practical Linux and networking knowledge; comfortable across the Linux stack.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality open source software operations code using Python and Golang.
• Work across Linux tech stack: kernel, networking, storage, virtualization, containers.
• Build and improve open source infrastructure for monitoring, alerting, automation, operations.
• Rethink and modernize open source operations for customers and community.
• Apply strong software engineering principles across architecture, testing, documentation, performance.
• Follow agile software development practices for efficient delivery.
• Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams.
• Coach and share technical knowledge with colleagues.
• Contribute to a healthy collaborative engineering culture.
• Participate in events with up to 10% travel.
