Riverbed Technology, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Engineer for a hybrid role in Greater Paris, France. You will act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle and partner with Sales to drive account strategy and technical wins.

You will lead with Digital Employee Experience expertise, articulate the value of Riverbed’s DEX, NPM+, and Riverbed IQ pillars, and demonstrate measurable business impact to both technical and executive audiences.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Enterprise IT Consulting.
• Hands-on with DEX/EUEM/End User Experience Monitoring or related digital workplace tech.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, including endpoints, apps, networks and hybrid/cloud.

Position

Title: Solutions Engineer

Location:Hybrid - Greater Paris, France

What you will do

• Act as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers throughout the sales cycle
• Partner closely with Sales to jointly own account and opportunity strategy, opportunity qualification, and technical wins
• Lead with Digital Employee Experience expertise, articulating value around productivity, experience, and IT effectiveness
• Position DEX, NPM+ and Riverbed IQ as core pillars of Riverbed’s platform value
• Gradually build deep working knowledge across the full Riverbed portfolio, including network performance and observability solutions
• Conduct structured discovery sessions to uncover technical challenges and business outcomes
• Translate customer pains into value-based solution architectures
• Build compelling narratives that link technical capabilities to measurable business impact
• Deliver high-impact product demonstrations, workshops and executive briefings
• Lead Proof of Value (PoV) and pilot engagements from definition through execution and outcome validation
• Present results and recommendations to technical and executive audiences
• Support RFIs/RFPs with strong technical and architectural input
• Contribute to internal enablement, knowledge sharing, and best practices within the SE team

What makes you an ideal candidate

• Several years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Technical Pre-Sales, or Enterprise IT Consulting
• Hands-on experience in DEX/EUEM/End User Experience Monitoring or adjacent digital workplace technologies
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, including endpoints, applications, networks, and hybrid/cloud architectures
• Familiarity with observability platforms, ITSM, endpoint management, or performance monitoring solutions
• Ability to quickly learn and adopt a broad enterprise platform beyond your core specialisation
• Strong consultative mindset with the ability to connect technical insights to business outcomes
• Comfortable engaging with both deep technical audiences and C‑level stakeholders
• Confident presenter with excellent storytelling and communication skills
• Collaborative team player with a proactive, self-driven mindset
• Structured, reliable, and customer-focused in complex enterprise environments
• Fluency in French and English
• Ability to travel up to ~40%
