Workiva France is seeking a seasoned pre-sales consultant to engage customers, prospects and partners via phone, web or onsite meetings, guiding discovery and aligning Workiva solutions to business needs across Finance, GRC, and Sustainability.

You will collaborate with Client Services, Product Marketing and Sales to drive value, deliver solution demonstrations, build business cases, and coach peers while traveling up to 30%.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in pre-sales, solution consulting, or management consulting (Big 4 or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Engage customers, prospects and partners via phone, web or onsite meetings; guide discovery.
• Tailor demonstrations showing how Workiva solves customer needs.
• Coordinate with Client Services for smooth onboarding and ongoing value.
• Develop industry use cases and multi-domain knowledge.
• Lead demos on Financial Reporting, GRC, and Sustainability.
• Create proofs of concept and business cases to validate requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Scoping and Customer Success to hit goals.
• Support Sales in account planning and achieve Tech Win.

What You’ll Do

• Execute pre-sales framework to engage customers, prospects, and partners via phone, web, or onsite meetings, drive the discovery process, and identify areas where Workiva solutions align to address customer/prospect needs
• Ensure customer success by working with Workiva Client Services team for smooth on-boarding and long term success
• Demonstrate knowledge across multiple domain areas developing working knowledge of industries, departments, and use cases where Workiva can have an impact
• Conduct both generic and targeted solution demonstrations around Financial Reporting (private financials, capital markets transactions, SEC/Advanced, and management reporting) and Controls essentials
• Assist in developing new use‑cases or by using existing templates providing proof of our solution’s impact and value proposition
• Conduct process assessments with customers, build Proof of Concepts to validate requirements, build and present customer specific business cases
• May begin to deliver cross-domain coaching, training, or mentoring peers
• Work with Product Marketing, Client Services, Scoping, and Customer Success to achieve team and company goals
• Assist Sales in developing account plans in support of Workiva strategies and objectives
• Take primary ownership of Opportunity Technical Evaluations, driving to a verified Tech Win by proving technical viability, securing key stakeholder acceptance, and demonstrating clear solution superiority over current processes
• Guide customers on leveraging data connectivity, automated reporting workflows, and practical AI capabilities to streamline complex reporting, GRC, and Sustainability/Carbon processes
• Conduct solution discovery and value presentations across Workiva’s core solutions, including Financial Reporting, GRC and Sustainability

What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of related career experience in pre-sales/solution consulting or management consulting experience (e.g., Big 4 or equivalent) with a background in solution consulting, technical sales, or solution delivery
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred, or equivalent practical experience similar
• Fluent in French and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience engaging with and presenting to business or IT managers and executives
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
• Self‑motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement
• Hands on technical experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies, and architectures preferred
• Experience with ERP, GRC, GL, FP&A, or Analytics & Reporting solutions
• Ability to present a value based, compelling software demonstrations
• Working knowledge or practical experience with emerging AI capabilities (e.g., automated data curation, intelligent document processing, predictive insights, or AI-assisted reporting workflows)
• Familiarity with enterprise data structures, API integrations, or cross-domain platform solutions (Finance, GRC, or Sustainability/ESG frameworks like CSRD)

Travel Requirements & Working Conditions

Up to 30% travel for customer and internal meetings
