Job summary

IYC is seeking a Deckhand for a 28m motor yacht based in the South of France, West Mediterranean cruising. The role is hands-on and responsible for exterior maintenance, including wash-downs, teak care, brightwork, stainless polishing, line handling, docking and anchoring operations, and assisting with tender driving and guest transfers when required.

We value 1–2 seasons of experience and the ability to work independently as the sole deckhand.

Qualifications

• Experience in exterior deck maintenance and safety on yachts.
• Ability to work hands-on with limited supervision.
• Comfort with tender driving and guest transfers when required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exterior of yacht: wash-downs, teak care, brightwork, stainless polishing.
• Perform line handling, docking and anchoring operations.
• Assist with tender driving and guest transfers as needed.
