Bluewater in Cannes seeks a deckhand for a 34 metre private motor yacht during the winter season. The role is a sole deck position responsible for winter deck maintenance and periodic engineer assistance.

Background in engineering is desirable, and the candidate should be able to work independently. Experience of 2–3 seasons as a deckhand and holding YM Offshore, STCW, Eng 1, and Powerboat Level 2 certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Independent worker who can run tasks on deck with minimal supervision.
• Background in engineering is useful for deck and shipyard maintenance.
• Willingness to commit to a winter contract and learn on the job.
• 2–3 seasons of deckhand experience or equivalent is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Winter deck maintenance and shipyard upkeep.

Seeking a Deckhand for a 34 metre motor yacht.

Deckhand position

Males only due to cabin arrangements

We are looking for a deckhand for the winter.

The position is a sole position on deck and you will be responsible for winter deck maintenance, shipyard deck maintenance and assisting the engineer from time to time.

Therefore a background in some form of engineering is desired.

Someone who is keen, eager to further their learning and just get on with the job.

We need someone that can work independently.

Contract: Winter contract, possibility to extend

Experience: 2-3 seasons as a deckhand with some engineering experience.

Salary: DOE TBC

Qualifications: YM Offshore , STCW , Eng 1, Powerboat Level 2 ,

Itinerary: Mediterranean (Summer) / Cannes (Winter)
