Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse, France, seeks a Software IT Support Engineer to join the IT and support services team. You will define, administer and develop infrastructure within the Software Development Environment used by software projects and support teams across Avionic Entities.

The role combines infrastructure, tools development and training duties, interacting with security, quality and performance constraints while applying industrial requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) and VM management.
• Strong DevOps toolchain experience including Git, GitLab, Gerrit, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Ability to manage development processes and support IT approvals and tooling improvements.

Responsabilités

• Oversee network and IT infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain development tools.
• Support software project teams for tools issues and resolutions.
• Provide training on tool usage to project teams.
• Define infrastructure aligned with project needs in collaboration with Tools Development Environment team.

Job Description: Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Software IT Support Engineer (m/f) in Toulouse, France. You will join the IT and support services team in order to bring services to several Functional Avionic Entities into TSEA “Avionics systems”. Your mission will be to define/administrate/develop infrastructure integrated in the Software Development Environment used by Software Project and to support/train the projects teams in tools usage. Your working environment: Global capital of aeronautics and European capital for space research, Toulouse is a dynamic city of the southwest of France served by an international airport. Ideally located between the Mediterranean sea and the Atlantic ocean and close to the Pyrenees mountains, it offers plenty of options for outdoor activities!

Your challenges:

• Network and IT infrastructure
• Development and maintenance of Tools
• Supporting Software project teams for tools problem resolution
• Performing training of the Software project teams for tools usage
• Defining the infrastructure associated to the project and business needs for the project in collaboration with the tools Development Environment Responsible.

Your profile:

• Programmation & Scripting : C, Java, Python, Shell, Perl.
• Systèmes : Administration Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) et gestion de machines virtuelles (VM).
• Outils & DevOps : Maîtrise de la chaîne de développement et d'automatisation (Git, GitLab, Gerrit, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, K8S, Jira, Confluence, Redmine, Eclipse, GCC).
• Infrastructure : Configuration, administration et déploiement d'infrastructures et d'outils.
• Pilotage de développement : Capacité à gérer des développements logiciels en intégrant les contraintes de sécurité, qualité, performance, coût, environnement et exigences industrielles.
• Gestion de processus : Application des processus, support aux approbations IT et force de proposition pour l'amélioration des processus existants.
• Soft Skills : Rigueur, autonomie, esprit d'analyse et de synthèse, prise d'initiative, écoute et disponibilité.
• Communication : Capacités relationnelles et bonne maîtrise de l'anglais.
