Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse is seeking a G Ground Segment Maintenance Engineer to join the Maintenance & Customer Support team. You will contribute to IVV/ISS activities for Export Ground Segments and support EOS programs, gaining understanding of ground systems and customer constraints.

The role requires up to 3 years of experience, a master or engineering degree, and proficiency in Linux, Git, scripting, Python, and networks.

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a G Ground Segment Maintenance Engineer (m/f) to join the Maintenance & Customer Support department based in Toulouse, France. This department is in charge of corrective and evolutionary activities of our end-customers for Earth Observation, Telecom and Navigation programs.

For Earth Observation (EOS) programs, you will contribute to Integration, Verification and Validation (IVV) and In-Service Support (ISS) activities for Export Ground Segments.

This position offers the opportunity to gain a solid functional and technical understanding of Ground Segment, operational scenarios and understand Customer constraints on complex EOS systems.

Your challenges:

• Provide support to EOS Export Customers (troubleshooting, workaround, ...)
• Contribute to perform activities in worldwide Customers premises (maintenance visits, deployments, ...)
• Participate in the acceptance testing phases: integration, validation, and regression testing
• Prepare and ensure the delivery of versions and/or patches to Customers in accordance with shedule/cost/quality
• Maintain the documentation repository and the team's knowledge base up to date
• Be proactive in proposing improvements.

Your profile:

• Up to 3 years of experience and the following skills:
• Master's degree, engineering degree, or equivalent,
• First experience in software development or validation,
• Functional knowlegde on Control Ground Segment and/or Mission Ground Segment and/or Image Ground Segment would be an asset,
• Proficiency in Linux, Git, Scripting, Python, Network,
• Willingness to learn, team spirit, customer satisfaction,
• French, English: advanced level.

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Occasional business travel may be required worldwide, and you must be willing to travel accordingly.
