GCI seeks a Senior Software Engineer with an active Secret clearance to design and develop processing platforms, provide maintenance, and collaborate with engineers to advance capabilities. This on-site role requires US citizenship and willingness to upgrade clearance.
The position requires 5–10 years of software engineering experience and a BS in CS/EE or related fields; familiarity with APIs, Linux, and build tools like Maven/Jenkins is expected.

At GCI, we solve hard problems. As a Senior Software Engineer, a typical day will include the following duties:
GCI’s systems are distributed regionally throughout the Continental United States (CONUS), and require quarterly updates to software systems, and occasionally hardware, as well. The successful candidate is able to travel at least four times a year to CONUS sites for two (2) to four (4) days to perform the scheduled maintenance.
*A candidate must be a US Citizen and requires an active/current Secret clearance and be willing to upgrade to a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.GCI will work with the candidate to transfer and sponsor their clearance.
