GCI is seeking an Infrastructure DevOps Lead to design and implement complex cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions in a TS/SCI environment. You will lead an Agile Kanban team, drive security and accreditation, and mentor engineers across AWS, Kubernetes, and IaC tooling.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and cloud migrations from on-premises to AWS, with a focus on automation and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

The Infrastructure DevOps Lead will manage the design and implementation of complex cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions. In addition to being a hands‑on technical leader with experience in cloud migrations, infrastructure as code, and container orchestration, the lead will use their firsthand technical expertise in AWS technologies and security hardening to develop robust, scalable infrastructure platforms and solutions. They must be at ease working in an Agile environment using Kanban methodologies, as well as embody a passion for continuous improvement and innovation in infrastructure automation and deployment processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead an Agile team using Kanban methodologies to deliver infrastructure and DevOps solutions


• Serve as a hands‑on technical leader in cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment strategies

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience


• Minimum of eight (8) years current experience leading the development and implementation of complex infrastructure and DevOps solutions applying Agile methodologies
