GCI seeks a Senior Software Engineer with an active Secret clearance to design and develop processing platforms, provide maintenance, and collaborate with engineers to advance capabilities. This on-site role requires US citizenship and willingness to upgrade clearance.

The position requires 5–10 years of software engineering experience and a BS in CS/EE or related fields; familiarity with APIs, Linux, and build tools like Maven/Jenkins is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or related with 5–10 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building APIs/services using REST, Hadoop, Spark.
• Linux experience preferred (Windows acceptable).

Responsabilités

• Design and develop a processing platform using configuration management tech.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements for existing systems.
• Troubleshoot complex problems and provide customer support for software systems.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other engineers to advance the organization's capabilities.
