Lago is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own and scale our platform’s infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and security. You will design and automate provisioning with Terraform and Kubernetes, and optimize PostgreSQL deployments for high availability.

Join a fast-moving, open-source–driven team, collaborating with engineers to improve deployment processes and DevOps practices while maintaining a strong security posture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
• Experience managing and scaling PostgreSQL in production.
• Proficiency in Ruby or Go (or willingness to learn).
• Passion for open-source and infrastructure-as-code principles.

Requirements

• Strong experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles: 5 year+
• Expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
• Experience managing and scaling PostgreSQL in production.
• Proficiency in Ruby or Go (or willingness to learn).
• Passion for open-source and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving startup environment.

Bonus Points

• Experience with open-source projects or developer tools.
• Strong background in security and compliance for cloud applications.
• Prior experience in metering, billing, or fintech infrastructure.
