Lago is hiring a frontend engineer to own and scale Lago’s frontend app, delivering reliable performance and new features from our Paris office or remotely within a ±2h timezone of CET.

You will collaborate with Product and Backend teams, maintain the design system, and improve monitoring for frontend issues, while embracing an Open Source mindset in a fintech context.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of React (ideally with GraphQL).
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments with moving goals and exciting delivery schedules.
• Genuine passion for Open-Source; OSS contributions or use of OSS tools encouraged.

About Lago- This role is based either in-office in Paris in our gorgeous new office in the 10th arrondissement, and/or remote in a timezone that is +2/-2h from CET. We're a team of 18 today, and we're all about Product, FinTech and Open Source. Our Product is really tech-driven, as we process and structure a lot of data, and build for a growing number of customers and developers so we have numerous exciting front-end challenges!

Your role includes

• Own and scale Lago’s Frontend App to ensure reliability, performance, and feature release.
• Co-design and build features with the Product and Backend Engineering Teams.
• Maintain and enhance our design system to ensure consistency within the app.
• Improve monitoring and observability for frontend related issues and bugs.

• Understand customer needs and challenges
• Come up with technical solutions to create and improve the best features, and our architecture

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of React (and ideally with GraphQL)
• Experience working in a fast-paced, Startup environment with moving goalposts and exciting delivery schedules.
• A genuine passion for Open-Source: if you’ve contributed to OSS projects or used OSS tools, let us know!
• Bonus: You've worked on a B2B or Fintech-specific product, with a key focus on the end-user.
• A real appetite for the early stages of co-creating a product and shaping Lago's future
