Checkout is seeking Software engineers who bring fresh ideas and are passionate about building products that support the company's strategic goals. You’ll join cross-functional teams across product management and engineering to design scalable microservices and deliver high-impact software.

You will mentor teammates, deliver high-quality code under tight deadlines, and stay current with the latest technologies to push Checkout forward in a global fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in C# .NET, Java, or Go, with strong backend or full-stack understanding.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction.
• Experience in agile environments and delivering high-quality code under tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work independently or in a team.
• AI proficiency or curiosity to leverage latest tech.
• Payments or financial knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Define and design loosely coupled, scalable systems in a wider microservices architecture.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies used by Checkout and spread knowledge.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code on impactful systems.
• Build, own and operate systems with high resilience and service levels.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to their development.
