Job summary

Mirakl Labs in Paris is seeking a Software Engineer Apprentice to join the Mirakl Connect team. You will participate in designing and delivering features for our SaaS platform, mentored by senior engineers, and your work will span from backend Java 21 and Spring Boot to frontend ReactJS.

Starting January or February 2027, you’ll be an apprentice and grow with a strong focus on software engineering best practices, testing, and scalable architecture in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in engineering school or university, specializing in web or software development.
• Hands-on development experience via internships, school projects, or personal projects.
• Good understanding of Java and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot is a plus.
• Interest in databases and microservices architecture, API design, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design sessions to shape and scope new features.
• Develop, test, and ship code to production through continuous delivery practices.
• Engage in code reviews and pair programming, giving and receiving feedback.
• Monitor and debug production issues, adopting a you build it, you run it mindset.
• Contribute to agile ceremonies and the Labs product roadmap.

The Team You'll Join You'll be part of one of our Mirakl Labs teams working on the Mirakl Connect product , alongside software engineers, a Product Manager, and a QA Engineer. Our teams own the full end-to-end scope of their products, from design and development to the delivery of high-quality features for Mirakl's SaaS platform, used by clients around the world. Starting in January or February 2027 , you'll join us as an apprentice and be mentored by Jérôme Valloire, Software Architect , who will support your technical growth and help you develop strong software engineering best practices. 2.
