Mirakl is seeking an engineering apprentice for the Mirakl Labs team, joining the Mirakl Connect product. You will collaborate with software engineers, a Product Manager, and a QA Engineer to own end-to-end feature delivery, from design to production.

You will learn strong software engineering practices, partake in code reviews, and contribute to agile ceremonies while developing in Java 21, Spring Boot, and ReactJS. Start date Jan/Feb 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in engineering school or university, focusing on web or software development.
• Hands-on development experience via internship, project, or prior apprenticeship is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Java and object-oriented programming is expected.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot and modern frameworks is a plus.
• Interest in AI technologies and scalable software architecture is valued.

Responsabilités

• Participate in design sessions with your squad, Product Manager, and UX/UI teams to shape new features.
• Develop, test, and ship code to production through continuous delivery practices.
• Engage in code reviews and pair programming to learn and contribute quickly.
• Monitor and debug production issues, applying a you build it, you run it mindset.
• Contribute to agile ceremonies and the Labs product roadmap.

1. The Team You’ll Join

You’ll be part of one of our Mirakl Labs teams working on the Mirakl Connect product, alongside software engineers, a Product Manager, and a QA Engineer. Our teams own the full end-to-end scope of their products, from design and development to the delivery of high-quality features for Mirakl’s SaaS platform, used by clients around the world.

Starting in January or February 2027 , you’ll join us as an apprentice and be mentored by Jérôme Valloire, Software Architect, who will support your technical growth and help you develop strong software engineering best practices.

2. Your Impact

• Participate in design sessions with your squad, Product Manager, and UX/UI teams to shape and scope new features
• Develop, test, and ship code to production through continuous delivery practices
• Engage in code reviews and pair programming, giving and receiving feedback to grow quickly
• Monitor and debug production issues, embracing a you build it, you run it mindset
• Contribute to agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) and the Labs product roadmap

3. What You’ll Bring to the Role

Experience:

• Currently enrolled in an engineering school or university, specializing in web or software development
• A first hands-on experience in development, whether through an internship, school project, personal project, or a previous apprenticeship
• Good understanding of Java and object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with modern frameworks such as Spring Boot is a plus
• A strong interest in AI technologies

Skills:

• Java development and OOP principles
• Interest in databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Curiosity for microservices architecture, API design, and cloud environments
• Commitment to software quality practices (testing, clean code, design patterns)
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for knowledge sharing and problem solving
