Job summary

HDR is seeking a Site Civil Team Lead in our Pittsburgh, PA office to guide a team of Site Civil Engineers, EITs, and Designers. The role delivers site civil design from planning through commissioning, leading project execution and coordinating with multi-disciplinary groups.

The ideal candidate has a PE license, 10+ years of civil engineering experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Experience in general civil engineering and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Professional Engineer license (PE or P.Eng) recognized by the licensing board.
• Proven leadership and strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office."
• Active participation in an employee-owned culture is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations of the production team including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support.
• Coordinate services with other sections and teams; work with other Team Leads on staffing initiatives.
• Support marketing planning, project pursuits, and proposal development.
• Interact with industrial and public clients on marketing and project production.
• Manage projects with multi-disciplinary teams and ensure quality control and timely delivery.
