Job summary

Cushing Terrell is seeking a Regional Denver Lead — Civil Engineer to grow the Denver practice and lead a portfolio of land development, municipal infrastructure, and transportation projects. This on-site role offers hybrid flexibility and reports to the Director of Civil Engineering.

You will build a regional practice, mentor EITs and PEs, pursue new business, and ensure delivery on time and within budget using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related tools.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the hiring state.
• Current license with NCEES.
• Experience leading regional engineering teams.
• Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary design groups.
• Proven project & program management experience.
• Experience in land development, transportation, and municipal civil engineering.
• Established local/regional business development network.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a regional civil engineering team of EITs and PEs.
• Manage a personal portfolio of civil engineering projects from proposal to delivery.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Denver market.
• Provide oversight and quality control for project plans, calculations, reports, and specifications.
• Apply knowledge of codes, permitting, and jurisdictional processes.
• Develop project budgets, cost estimates, and staffing plans; lead major pursuits.
• Build and strengthen client relationships and internal leadership partnerships.
