Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions in Paris is seeking a Site Budget and Contract Specialist to drive site contracts from negotiation through execution within a sponsor-dedicated model.

You will collaborate with Clinical Operations, Legal, and Finance to ensure timely contract finalization, site payments, and regulatory compliance, while maintaining transparent contract tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a scientific or healthcare field.
• 2-4 years of experience in contract negotiation, clinical research, or related field.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and GCP.
• Proficiency in contract management/tracking systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations and ensure timely processing of site payments.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, regulatory requirements, and contractual commitments.
• Proactively identify, mitigate, and escalate contractual risks and challenges.
• Track and maintain contract documentation and status in applicable systems, ensuring data accuracy and transparency.
• Provide timely and accurate status reports to study teams and key stakeholders.
• Partner with Clinical Operations, Legal, Finance, and Management to support efficient contract execution and study timelines.
• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance departmental efficiency and quality standards.

Site Budget and Contract Specialist plays a key role in the successful start-up of clinical trials by managing site contracts from negotiation through execution. Working closely with Clinical Operations, Legal, Finance, and investigative sites, you will ensure timely contract finalization, site payments, regulatory compliance, and transparent contract tracking to support study milestones and operational excellence.

Manage the full contract lifecycle, from review and negotiation through execution and close-out.

• Lead contract negotiations and ensure timely processing of site payments.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, regulatory requirements, and contractual commitments.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field
• 2-4 years of experience in contract negotiation, clinical research, or a related field
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and GCP.
• Proficiency in contract management/tracking systems
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
