Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking a Site Budget and Contract Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of site contracts for clinical trials. You will coordinate with Clinical Operations, Legal, Finance and investigative sites to negotiate, execute, and track contracts while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely payments.

You will monitor contract status, support study milestones, and drive process improvements to improve efficiency and quality across trials. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Solid clinical trial management experience and ability to juggle priorities.
• Experience driving deliverables of a study across functions.
• Subject matter expertise in a designated therapeutic area.

• Track and maintain contract documentation and status in systems.

• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

Site Budget and Contract Specialist plays a key role in the successful start-up of clinical trials by managing site contracts from negotiation through execution. Working closely with Clinical Operations, Legal, Finance, and investigative sites, you will ensure timely contract finalization, site payments, regulatory compliance, and transparent contract tracking to support study milestones and operational excellence.

Manage the full contract lifecycle, from review and negotiation through execution and close-out.

• Lead contract negotiations and ensure timely processing of site payments.


• Ensure adherence to SOPs, regulatory requirements, and contractual commitments.


• Proactively identify, mitigate, and escalation contractual risks and challenges.


• Track and maintain contract documentation and status in applicable systems, ensuring data accuracy and transparency.


• Provide timely and accurate status reports to study teams and key stakeholders.


• Partner with Clinical Operations, Legal, Finance, and Management to support efficient contract execution and study timelines.


• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance departmental efficiency and quality standards.

Your Profile

You will have solid clinical trial management experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team.

Required Qualifications And Experience

• University degree in medicine, science, or equivalent combination of education & experience


• Demonstrated ability to drive the clinical deliverables of a study


• Subject matter expertise in the designated therapeutic area


• Prior monitoring experience is preferred


• Willingness to travel as required (approximately 25%)
