Swiss Butter in Paris is seeking a Shift Leader to run daily shifts on the floor, report to the Restaurant Manager, and ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience. You will lead the team, maintain service quality and speed, handle opening/closing cash, and uphold food safety standards.

Fluency in French is required, English is a plus, and you must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team during each shift
• Ensure service quality, speed and guest satisfaction
• Handle opening and closing procedures and cash management
• Enforce food safety, hygiene and brand standards
• Resolve guest issues and report to management

Profile

• Previous experience as a shift leader or supervisor in restaurants
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Able to work under pressure, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• At least 2–3 years of experience as a shift leader, supervisor or senior team member in restaurants
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team during busy service
• Strong customer service skills and attention to quality
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP training is a plus)
• Experience with cash handling and opening and closing procedures
• Good organisation and problem-solving under pressure
• Available for evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Fluent French; English is a plus
• Valid right to work in France
