Umicore’s Metal Deposition Solutions unit seeks a Technical Sales Sr. Professional to grow Electroplating sales across East and South France, coordinating with West region. You will manage a diverse customer portfolio, visiting sites and delivering technical consultancy. Travel to Umicore locations in Paris and Germany is expected.

The role blends technical expertise with sales acumen, demanding strong client service and the ability to develop new opportunities across the EU.

Qualifications

Engineering background or experience in Materials/Electro-chemistry (or similar).
5+ years’ experience in surface treatment.
Combination of technical expertise with sales/customer skills.
Willingness to travel.
Experience in technical sales / customer service in relevant industries.
Fluent in French and English; other languages a plus.
Autonomy and organization.
Availability and flexibility.
Driven by results.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Creative in approach.
Perseverance and drive.

Responsabilités

Define commercial objectives and policy for Electroplating in East and South France with West region.
Coordinate sales administration with West France and German HQ.
Develop sales for Electroplating processes with on-site customer visits and follow-up.
Provide technical assistance on production lines in France and by telephone.
Ensure customer assistance and technical consultancy in France and occasionally other countries.
